It is ontologically and spiritually true that each person is privileged and burdened with the gift of uniqueness. There is no scape from this. No one else sees your life in the way that you do. Neither can any other stand on the same ground as you, destiny has decreed this. You are the unique inhabitant of your own reality and of your own life. There is of course one big world out there. We percieve and experience it. But really the primary world that each of us has to do with is the world that is invisible, that is the interior world that is within us. It has territories which extend endlessly inwards and have depths that are ancient. Stanivslasky, the Russian theatre writer and theorist, said: 'The longest journey, is the journey inwards'
