How much are we willing to trust our bodily experience?: Questions by Susan Aposhyan
"How
willing are we, really, to dive into the mysteries, the intensities,
and the potentialities of our bodily lives as human beings? This
essential question leads to many important offshoots: Are we willing and
able to be human animals with brilliant intellects? To feel in our
bodies the inseparability of sexuality and spirituality?
To experience the continuity of sensation connecting individual needs
and group needs? To reacquaint ourselves with the community within our
own bodies in order to practice community with others? Fundamentally, we
must ask: How fully are we willing to look into our bodily experience
for insights related to the mind, emotions, and spirit? Are we willing
to let our bodies teach us, to integrate our natural intelligence?"
