Woman and the Moon, Sylvia Plath and Lu Cordaro
The Moon has her own way to women's essence, she follows us in light and darkness, she understands rythm, she embodies the flow between opening and closing, increasing and decreasing, exposure and recuperation.
Sylvia Plath sees the Moon as a blue mother, Lu answers with a sweet darkenss in her painting:
“The moon is my mother. She is not sweet like Mary.
Her blue garments unloose small bats and owls.”
Sylvia Plath, Ariel
