A Dancing Soul (2): Maria Fux

Maria Fux, creator of Danzaterapia in Argentina. She keeps dancing and teaching in her nineties still, working with adults and children with disabilities, with seniors and with all people that comes to her... a true dancing soul:

"We know and accept that an ideal body doesn't exist. We relate to the expressive body, a generous body that changes through time, integrating its limits... We recognize its fears, and we accept them, keeping in mind that all the support we need is right here in our inner world where movement can lead to permanent change and joy.  

We do not dance to be liked, but to be ourselves, to be able to create, express and give to others ... I work most of all with the recognition of the body, the joy of acceptance and the possibility of expression."
