All stories speak to each of us...

Early in the morning I got a picture of a beautiful painting by a dear friend, an artist from the land I live today. It evoked images and words and it was connected to a dream I had the night before. The words were echoes of a book I read a while ago, about native wisdom, medicine,  history, connection, knowledge and healing. I found these words, here the first ones I want to share from Carl Hammerschlag:

"When we see this universal connection among all who have walked the earth, it becomes clear that all history is the history of our own time.  All stories speak to each of us.  Understanding this connection is crucial if we’re to be able to live together and to live with ourselves.  We must learn to feel how other people connect to one another and to the universe."
